The Outlands is an indie mobile game featuring low-poly graphics, centered around a zombie survival theme. In this game, players can engage in activities such as exploring, scavenging, building, crafting, and ultimately surviving the apocalypse.
This version of the game is still in its early stages but is already playable. It has been developed using Unity over a period of four months.
The concept of The Outlands draws inspiration from popular PC games like "Unturned," "Dead Island," and various other zombie survival games and first-person shooters. It aims to bring the immersive open-world survival experience to mobile devices. Set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by the undead, players must utilize leftover materials, weapons, clothing, and resources, as well as natural surroundings, to establish reliable shelters and gain an advantage amidst the chaos.
By utilizing vehicles and weapons strategically, players can explore remnants of the old world and embark on a quest to uncover the source of the widespread infection while managing vital needs such as hunger, thirst, and overall health.
